Asset Based Lending Senior Business Development Officer

Join us!<br><br>This job is responsible for sourcing new financing opportunities and leading deal teams through the analysis, approval, and execution phases of a transaction. Key responsibilities include working on sole lender, club, and widely syndicated ABL transactions and maintaining an external referral network of private equity firms, investment banks, consultants, and direct credit lenders. Job expectations include developing an internal referral network of relationship managers and credit product managers in Global Banking among other lines of business to work with prospective ABL clients and COIs.</p><p><br><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Originates new asset based lending credit facilities for companies $50MM+ in revenue</li><li>Acquires profitable client relationships through sales, prospecting, and enhancing existing relationships</li><li>Understands and interprets financial and cash flow statements to assess and analyze financial conditions of companies and industry trends</li><li>Collaborates with internal bank partners to deliver asset based lending solutions to clients and prospects</li><li>Leads and facilitates dialogue with complex clients and prospects on topics such as the industry, alternative capital structures, and general business issues</li><li>Coaches and mentors peers, while utilizing leadership skills</li><li>Adapts to changes in sales practices and broader market and industry conditions as needed</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Skills:</b></p><ul><li>Business Development</li><li>Negotiation</li><li>Sales Strategy</li><li>Client Management</li><li>Influence</li><li>Networking</li><li>Referral Identification</li><li>Oral Communications</li><li>Referral Management</li><li>Written Communications</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Skills</b></p><ul><li><span>Direct calling experience at the CEO, CFO and MD level</span></li><li><span>Five+ years of experience in ABL Lending</span></li><li><span>Strong oral, written and analytical/credit skills</span></li><li><span>Ability to travel for in-person meetings</span></li><li><span>FINRA 7, 63 and 79 licenses (if not currently licensed, must be completed within 180 days of start date).</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Desired Skills</b></p><ul><li><span>Completion of a bank credit training program.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Minimum Education Requirement: </b>High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent</p><p style="text-align: inherit;"></p><p style="text-align: inherit;"></p><p style="text-align: left;"><b>Shift:</b></p>1st shift (United States of America)<p style="text-align: inherit;"></p><p style="text-align: inherit;"></p><p style="text-align: left;"><b>Hours Per Week: </b></p>40<p style="text-align: inherit;"></p><p style="text-align: inherit;"></p><p style="text-align: left;"><b></b></p></div>
